Default Cat Hair

My wife has the most useless pet I've ever encountered. She's has this 9 year old Maine **** cat that cost her $300. Than in itself says enough

There has been cat hair in every crevis of our house for 9 years now and it gets to a point where on Fridays, I consider not checking out of my hotel and staying until work starts on Monday!

I thought I could just outlast this useless thing. I mean really, it can't live that long right?

Seems to me the only answer is one between the eyes, and trust me, if it wouldn't cost me everything I work for, I would have done it long ago. That's the hatred I have for this thing. I could rip its head off and shove it in the garbage and not feel one bit of remorse.

We've tried every brush we've seen on every infomercial. Tried all websites for how to control it, but the hair is EVERYWHERE no matter how many times you clean.

Her fat ass has also permanantly indented our couch backrests where she sleeps, she gets on the counter at night and that totally grosses me out.

Last night she slept on my keyboard and screwed everything up, because it's warm.

I need some type of untracable "organization" to do what needs to be done. No phone calls, no emails.......maybe I can call from a pre-paid cell to order the hit.

Thank God I'm leaving tomorrow at 4:00 AM for the week. I'll just suck it up (no pun intended).

I swear, I am the most simple, shallow person in the world to let a little fat ass cat ruin my life. I can't wait to get the hell out of here.

Well finally somebody else that feels the same about cat hair as I do. My fiancee has 2 cats but only 1 of them seems to shed constantly. If I put anything down it will have cat hair on it when I pick it up. I think she is going to give one to her parents before we get married but I couldn't talk her in to giving them both. I am thankful that she tries hard to make it better for me but she has to vacuum every day.

Maine **** 's live 20 to 30 years. You might want to consider 2 bullets.

I actually like cats, but I'm allergic. I've been able to teach my cats to stay off what I don't want them on. I no longer have a cat, but my GF's cat has become "family". I lint roll her every day and that seems to help a lot. I would vacuum my cat that I put down last year (20 yrs old) with the electrolux and she loved it.

Sorry to confirm Maine **** cats live a looong time.

Have your wife brush the cat morning and night. Won't get all of the loose hair but it will get a lot of it. Easier to brush the cat then vacuum the house.

I am not a cat guy but we had a Maine **** that lived 23 years. Our dog taught her how to act like a dog and she did. She hung out with our dog and we did not have a litter box. My wife brushed her 1-2 times a day and her hair was never a problem. She did live a lot longer than our first dog.

Why so sensitive about calling the breed Maine ****, they get the name from the originals from the UK that had markings like a raccoon. Yes they shed they have three layers of fur as they are basically an outdoor rat catcher that were bred to be used in granaries.

Flea dip for a dog will kill a cat.

You're screwed. Our house has wood floors and has so many "tumbleweeds" of cat and dog hair it looks like a scene from an old western. I can't believe these pets have any hair on them based on what they lose.

Maybe you can pay a doctor to confirm your new "allergy"?

So a little fur, dented pillows and sleeping on your keyboard has ruined your life? A dog could do a lot worse in the house.

Cats are really a lot less trouble than dogs.

My bad I guess THT has created a new breed the Main Raccoon o well I guess the dictionary and CFA were wrong about giving the breed a proper name.

Yep, you pretty much summed it up. Perfectly.

And that's why I don't have a dog either.
