Default 22 in an AR Platform- Deal

I know some have been looking for an AR platform type .22LR rifle. I found the below listed deal (mossberg AR) that comes with a descent red dot sight. 279.00 total for all. Scoll down on the link provided, I have no association with nor have I ordered from this company before.

Looks good and they have quite a selection. I'm not familar with this site so I can't offer any info ref. service, etc. I usually just order thru a friend thats also a dealer.

thanks for the link cracker

i did know about the mossberg, and that site is a hell of deal
what i found thought is that its about 50/50 on the reviews on it...some people think it's great for the money, and some people think it's junk even at 250

for 450 i got the S/W, with a walther ps22 red dot and a magpul forearm, and 4 25-rnd mags

Been using the CCI stuff. About 1500 rounds so far, with only one minor jam. The owner's manual gives you a list of preferred ammo, and a list of "don't use this ammo or you will die".

Remember, 22 lr is a very light load in terms of actual weight, and is also a rimfire cartridge. Rimfires get slightly deformed after the pin stikes. Both of these factors contribute to it's propensity to jam, especially when cycling very fast.

came in yesterday
added a vertical forearm grip, red dot sight & sling
the pop up sights came with it...and are nice because you can turn off the red dot and get a sight picture thru the walther w/o taking it off, or you can lower them and use the red dot

i will be heating it up this weekend!

I actually bought ours more for my wife's use (varmint elimination). She packs a S&W pistol around the farm. She likes the rifle, but I think I like it more

She keeps grumbling about the small hill of spent casings that accumulate during target shooting.

al if you add the VF grip, get some rubber ladder-type rail covers as well for underneath
the sharp rail around the grip eats on the top of your grip hand

I'm afraid she might use it on me.

But hey, they make small holes right? I should be healed up by mid June in time for Venice.

Will they eat the bulk ammo like Federal and Rem in the 550 boxes or the Federal Auto Match in the 325?
