Default THT slow these days?

Am I the only having issues with THT these last few days? Most times when I try to post it takes forever to redirect. Also just opening some threads takes forever.

This is happening on both my computers but only with THT. ;?

It's been like that for me for at least a month, especially from home. I hit my Control Panel to see my subscribed threads, or "New Posts", and it times out. Hit 'refresh' 3 minutes later and it comes right up. I've also lost posts and have learned to copy my reply to the clipboard before hitting the 'post' button.

The problems may have coincided with installing the RTM version of IE9 on my home PC, but I'm not positive. The work PC is better, but still running IE7.

I've also suspected that it may be at least one of the ads. If I'm blocking that particular IP/URL (i.e., I block 'advertising.com'), it times out before retrieving the actual THT content. If I wait a few minutes, a different ad is cycled in and served to me and I don't have a problem. Some may not be blocking those particular domains or IPs, and as an Admiral's Club member, you may not even be served those particular ads.

Slow as a snail sometimes and normal at others.

Everything else is normal so it's them. FWIW, I dumped cookies and snacks, It didn't change a thing.

Time for a fund raiser to get more server space.

I dumped the nylon insert battery nuts for a .308 AR10 and my connection is better then a carbide wedding ring of condensing dyers of yellowtail wine.

Alls I need now is someone to fly in to check my carpets that got cleaned.

We've been having problems with some pretty serious attacks again. Couple that with the amount of shoe and handbag spam and the servers are having some problems. It was at its worst about a week ago and slowed down again today. Tech is working on blocking the offending parties.

Ok good I don't feel so bad. I didn't think it was me as both of my computers are brand new with mega hardware and super fast internet connection.

Close down the 3 or 4 streaming porn videos on your computer before clicking on THT

The truth of the matter is I upgraded my cpu to 1 gig of ram and added a voice controlled mouse so I can multitask and have my hands free.

Good one! But not the case this time.

But I see the forum is back up to speed now.
