Default Recoil FAIL!

From Break.com

http://www.break.com/index/skinny-gi...ert-eagle.html

http://www.break.com/index/woman-can...recoil-2006099

http://www.break.com/index/cute-chic...un-recoil.html

I have never understood why the instructors don't "INSTRUCT" them on what is about to happen!!!???
Proper stance, proper grip of the weapon, etc.....

Only a smartass asshole would do give an inexperienced girl a Desert Eagle to shoot to make a joke video.

Its not funny and its likely to drive away a woman who otherwise might have enjoyed shooting if she started with a 22 revolver.

Wonder how many of the macho assholes in the videos started shooting a Desert Eagle or high caliber contender as their first gun?

I agree. Not that funny for me to see someone almost get their face broken by a large caliber handgun flying around because they weren't at all prepared for the recoil.

This video on the other hand does make me laugh, because all the guys in it are clearly prepared for the recoil and know exactly what they're doing, they just can't do anything about it.

For ever action there is an equal but opposite reaction. The idiots firing those weapons should know that.

However, the idiot instructors should be fired (as in released from employment ) for not properly instructing the idiots.

Stupidity is everywhere.

WESTFIELD - An 8-year-old boy who accidentally shot himself to death Sunday had his father's permission to participate in a machine gun shoot at the Westfield Sportsman's Club.

Christopher Bizilj, of Ashford, Conn., was firing a 9 mm Micro UZI machine gun at a pumpkin around 2 p.m. when he lost control of the automatic combat-type weapon and shot himself once in the head.

He died at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

Yup it was in 2008. Just using it as an example since it fits in with the numbskulls giving that pistol to someone who never fired one before.

As was the person that allowed to kid to fire the gun. That compact weapon should never be in the hands of a kid that small.

It is idiots like that that give gun ownership a bad rap...hell I was 5 when I started to learn to shoot, my grandad started me off on a 22 with blanks so I would be used to the noise....then eventually up to shotguns as the years progressed.

Agree with the other comments - these women are probably holding the weapons about like they would hold a POCKETBOOK. Wonder if they at least SHOWED the ladies how it was gonna' KICK before they handed them over? 'Course, it doesn't make much difference if they still hold it like they would a pocketbook.

I've never shot anything (handgun) larger than the old Colt 45 military auto (POS "training" gun that would literally fall apart if you shook it!).

I think my "comfort zone limit" is a .357mag (which I have shot) - unless I want some facial surgery.

Regards,

It was an event being held at the gun club, where lots of folks could try out firearms. The RO said he didn't think it was a good idea, but the father explained how he was a doctor, he knew his own son, he could handle, it, etc.
