Default Dirty Harry rocks!

The amc channel is running the Dirty Harry movies this week. I've watched several this week, and am watching The Dead Pool right now. These flicks ROCK!

They sure don't make 'em like they used to...

I agree!! The only Dirty Harry movie I dont really like but watch anyway is Sudden Impact, they could have found a better looking girl to play the lead in that one instead of big eyes Sondra Locke but Clint was doing her so oh well.

A lot of the women in his films were his squeeze at the time. He got his ass burned by some of them but you could call that the screwing you get for the screwing you got.

Most of Clint's movies rocked, including Dirty Harry and his spaghetti westerns.

One cool dude in the ranks of Paul Newman, Sean Connery and Steve McQueen.

I have the full DVD set which includes a Dirty Harry poster and badge!

I just wish there were more (real) cops just like him!

Trivia- Eastwood's best friend, Albert Popwell, was in quite a few of Clint's movies.

He was the black bank robber that was on the steps when Dirty Harry pointed his .44 at him and pulled the trigger (with it not firing). He was the Pimp in Magnum Force and Ed Moustafa in the Enforcer. He played Harry's partner (with the dog) in Sudden Impact.

He passed away in the late 90's.

Good stuff!

Did you recognize a young Jim Carrey as the strung out rock star?

I always wondered what his connection with Clint was.

Smith did a remake on several of their vintage guns and the 29 is one off them. Only two problems. MSRP = $1,129 and it has the Hillary hole.

Clint "well thats mighty white of you" when he left Tyne Daly to talk to big ed mustafa

"So miss Dickman propositions me on the street with a show pony, Other than cruelty to animals what laws have been broken"
Clint and Tyne daly at the review board. He has some the best one liners

Remember Firefox? I was training some Czech's back in 1984. I showed them the movie and they cried! No kidding--they said that was what it was really like behind the iron curtain. They got really emotional.

I loved the movie--but cry? really?

Clint's old movies made you think about being in the best damned country in the world.
