Default Yet another 2nd amendment threat.......

US Senate Bill 34 is in play right now. It's nothing more than a thinly disguised attempt to go around the recent Supreme Court ruling which upheld a citizens right to bear arms. This bill would give the Attorney generals office and appointees thereof the authority to bar any person from purchasing or owning firearms based on whether the AG's people deemed that person to be a terrorist. The bill contains no language which describes what will constitute obtaining the terrorist label for oneself. You can only imagine.......

If it's any clue as to the intent of the bill one needs only to look at who is sponsoring it. Schumer, Levin, Lieberman, Boxer, Feinstein et al. Need I say more.

Contact your senator and also contact the offices of the sponsors and let them know how you feel about being had through the "backdoor" approach. Here's a link to the bill and it's sponsors.

Let's see. Seems that members of the military and conservatives were labled "terroist threats" a while back???

So basicly the AG can determine that anyone who would want a gun is a terrorist?

As the government needs to part more and more people with their money to "redistribute" it to others, all of our rights will slowly be taken away. The second amendment is the pivotal one because once we are all defenseless (more so than we already are), they will be able to take away the rest of our rights.

If you don't think it's true, look at how people in states like NJ live and tell me it isn't so.

Bingo! Nowwwwww you're gettin the point!

Where in that bill is a terrorist defined? It's not. Sooooo that would mean it's probably a subjective thing open to interpretation by whomever is calling the shots. This of course would be denied vehemently by any of the bills sponsors.

I just left a message on Levin's recorder. He will probably never hear it but his staff will make a note of it. E-mail to the inbox of all the rest is next. We cannot let this crap slide through without a fight. They really want to have us all disarmed so they can just gun us down like the poor bastards in Syria today.

Don't bother me - I ain't or have ever been a terrorist. Just a soon terrorists don't have guns or explosives - Anyway, The Patriot act already covers this - in fact still allows any pretty much any L.E.O. to detain anyone suspect of terrorist connections. So why is this even needed? Unless that has been repealed????? Plus anything even remotely viewed as a threat to the 2nd amendment has no chance in hell of passing.
