Barstools
#1

No offense guys, but this is the single largest collection of real men that like their booze that I know of. I have been (for some time) looking for stools to compliment my bar. Do you guys have any stools that you are particularly fond of? Don't worry about style. I like the randomness of an open ended question. I'm all eyes. Thanks in advance

You can go with the 'Captain's Chair' look which is a nice maritime look, most women would approve. As far as comfort, we have them and just throw a chair pad on them and you're good to go:

How about having a local T-Top guy make you some out of aluminum tubing with mahagony seats? There is a local top guy down here (Blackfyn Customs) that made a tall table and barstools to match and they were awesome.

Not traditional barstools by any means but my wife is into contemporary furniture. These are actually quite comfortable to sit on and they don't take up near as much space as most traditional bar stools. Sorry this is the only picture I had and it's not a real good shot of the stools but enough to convey the "look".

In my old house I built a tiki bar in my basement and I found a closeout at Pier 1 of black wrought-iron framed bar stools with rattan woven seat and back. Was a perfect match for the tiki look.

Can't beat this place. It's about a mile from my house and was in there once a while back.

I have fallen off every make and model of barstool known to mankind. And those that I didn't fall from, well, I was pushed.
Had a set of ladderback captains chair types that we put on extended mounts at the pool bar back in the day. Very comfy, and would keep you from falling off (well, except for me

Check your area for a used equipment restaurant supply house. You might find some really cool ones. A buddy went to Chicago one weekend and came back with four that had some great history and looked fantastic.

Got these in an unpainted furniture store 20 years ago. In expensive Swivel contoured seat very comfortable. Have to repaint and re-tighten and sometimes reglue every few years. In fact they are due now for the periodic maintenance. Can't seem to be able to find an exact replacement - all depends on your tastes I guess
