Default Portable FM radio

So, I'm looking for an FM radio that has the same quality sound as an Ipod,is small, and has the power to pickup and hold local radio stations. And so far, it seems no one makes one.;? I want to listen to the radio at work. I can't believe that noone makes a good, --quality sound--, small, fm reciever. maybe I just missed it?So I figured I'd ask here. anyone have a suggestion? I asked for one for xmas, And I got one. but the size and the quality of this thing, well,I wouldn't be asking here if it were right. Someone has to have come up with something good, No?

I agree with you. Been looking for a good portable radio as well and can't seem to find one. Live down on the south shore and in general reception isn't the greatest. Hope someone comes up with a good recommendation

You can listen to hundreds of radio stations on iTunes if you have a computer and internet connection. In stereo, too. Portable FM radios tend to be mono, and the speaker(usually only one) is small and tinny. You use headphones on your iPod to get good sound, after all, and you would need headphones on your radio as well, if for nothing than to keep from bothering your co-workers.

Tivoli Audio - I've had several of their products and love them. A few $$$ but worth it in my opinion.
