Our lovely water outage mess
http://www.baynews9.com/article/news...inellas-County
:bashhh::bashhh::bashhh: Construction crews hit a 4ft water main the afternoon before christmas eve, tens of thousands without water, and a boil water advisory in effect. Tax dollars at work folks :roll Upside is we should have some pressure by the morning, not that I really care either way I just think it's stupid that crews aren't more cautious working around water mains. |
Low bid?

I think it's pretty phenomenal what the construction folks are able to do with minimal inconvenience to the masses.... I try not to complain when the electricity is only off for a few hours after a tree crosses the power lines in a storm or while construction crews are working on Christmas Eve...

A crew was trying to expose and repair an existing leak-- when that leak blew out. It was not a case of a guy on a backhoe digging a hole and busting a pipe. Lots a difference between the news article and your interpretation. |
I tore a 10 inch water main out one time, man there is a ton of water coming out
