Default Next Browns coach could be...

10:24 AM ET 12.19 | It's beginning to look like Eric Mangini may be replaced by Jon Gruden in Cleveland. All it will take is maybe $7 million a year. It's believed that the Browns job may be the only one that really interests Gruden. Browns president Mike Holmgren knows Gruden well from their days together in Green Bay and San Francisco.

two years ago i walked into a restaurant and saw randy learner and eric mangini sitting at a table talking. my first impulse was to walk over and ask "what are you, an idiot"? but i just smirked and kept walking.

That's been the buzz around here for awhile. It slowed a bit when the team was performing well and it looked like Mangini would keep his job, but this scenario sounds great to me.

He may end up with the Dolphins as well. The owner really likes him. Gruden still lives in Tampa and likes Florida and there was a lot of speculation he would take the UM job but it did not happen. He may of used UM to let the Dolphins know he may be interested. In Miami he could probably get total control which he won't in Cleveland!!!
