Default Sport quad?

Bought myself an early Christmas present, it is a '07 Polaris Outlaw 525 IRS, wanted the added ground clearance of IRS, it has a KTM motor, the one from the 530EXC, apparently Polaris owns 25% of KTM.
Bought it from CA, came strapped to a palet that was framed and shrink wrapped. Went through it all last night, changed the oil, checked everything. Has less than 3 hours on it. Took it out today, everything checks out seems perfect.
Quite a bit different from a utility quad, anyone else ride sport quads?

Mac, you love buying stuff from the left coast!

That will look good in Maine. Don't drive it around home however, our local gendarmes love to ticket adults riding ATVs and dirt bikes on our town roads.

Love the sport quads and I love my Polaris even though it is on its last day

If I did not need the utility quad I would probably have one, they are a blast.

Years ago I started out on a Yamaha Warrior and had more fun riding at the hunt club in summer and winter than I did hunting in the fall.

Have fun

I had an 04' Honda 450 (4x4) and a 05' yfz 450. I rode the yfz the most. That thing was pretty fast. It topped out at 80. Nothing like going around a curve at 60mph sideways. Make sure you install a set of nets on it..... those things saved me on more than once.

Pardon my ignorance, but what do the nets do, block flying objects?

Keep your feet from falling between the tires and running over your leg.
