Default Are you a big person?

We had problems with folding chairs breaking, because the admiral had had boith knees replaced, and twists the arms to get up out of it. My buddy, who goes over 300# + , said to get a "big man's chair" from Camping World. The Walmart grade chairs are rated at 225#, this one is rated 300#.
We bought one and it seems to be made heavy duty compared to the $10 Walmart grade. Comes with a carrying case.
note: They will mail order.
Just trying to pass along good product advice.

Thanks for posting.

Our neighbor tips the scales around 325 and uses the same chair as we do for watching our kids' baseball games. It is the folding canvas one from Costco. They probably don't have any right now, but they have had them in the spring and summer for the past 4 to 6 years.

We have a motorhome and shop at Camping World on a regular basis. I have seen the larger folding chairs that you refer to. They are nice even for folks that aren't so "portly"...

As a group we probably have more chairs broken by our drunken buddies and rambunktious (sp?) kids than any larger sized pesons.

6'7" 275 i crush wal mart foldables, bar stools, old sofas, wicker patio furniture, and portable massage tables (that was awkward)
