Default Finally Revenge

My wife has been getting automated calls on her cell phone over 5 years asking for Mark Wisner to call them. We have no idea who he is. The call says it is very important to call this number. When she called it once they started asking her questions about her address and other things she did not answer. She told she did not know the guy and to stop calling which they never did.

I googled the last call back number and it was ER Solutions a collection agency. I poked around some and came up with a home number of a division manager for one of their call centers. I got his name and location from their website and the idiot has a listed number. I even know where his lives and pass within 300 yards of his house at least once a month.

Imagine his surprise when I called him at home Saturday morning and told him my problem. He was very taken aback but professional. He asked for the phone number the call came from and who they were asking for. He said he would look into the matter.

I told him he needs to get it fixed because I am sure he does not want me calling him at home every time my wife gets a call. I gave him my number to let me know when he has it resolved.

I bet he gets it fixed.

Did the same to a collector years ago who was harassing my girlfriend. Dumbass had a very unique name and a listed phone. Called him at home at dinnertime and explained the facts of life to him. The calls quit.

Good for you! Better than blocking the call because then they'd just call from another line.

Had the same thing on my wifes cellphone.
I called them back and said that we did not know the man they wanterd. So they started in on the "questions" trying to see if we were hiding him. I said again, that I did not know him and this is a cell phone. So I asked for the manager and told him they were given a wrong number and if this did not stop, I was turning the whole matter over to my attorney for civil restitution. ( In legalese it means sue the bas***d.) The calls stopped.

However, I like the OP about calling the manager at home on a weekend.

Good job!

And if he doesn't take care of it, post his number here and we'll all chip in with a few phone calls per day until he does!

I am close to doing that. Just left a message on his home phone that I was concerned that I had not heard from him and may drop by his house to discuss it since I go by often.

I would be careful about leaving messages threatening to confront someone in person, does not take much to get a restraining order which could cause you a lot a problems.
