Default Does Temperature lower a Computer's SPEED??

Down here in the South, we consider cold weather to be a Godsend, and we get to put blankets on beds and just generally have fun with it....but we close all upstairs doors except to the MBR in order to preserve heat from the lower level.

Well, this morning it's 51.4 degrees here in the office and the computer is slooowwww.

Is there a correlation with temperature, or is the server just acting up? ;?

Absolutely it should go faster when its cooled, 51.4° is not cold enough to slow down a hard drive.

.....that's what I like, a thinking man.

You should see some of the cooling systems people put in their computers, crips one could make ice with some of them.
