Watching ESPN the other day saw where Zenyatta? I think is her name the horse that is gonna win the Breeders cup,or so they say, arrive in a private jet.......a modified 727 that just flies horses...crazy. Whatever happened to a horse trailer and a truck?

For six years old, that filly looks like Secretariat....amazingly beautiful animal...and she's never lost a race. This will be her last race.

When asked what stud would be a likely mate for her to foal, the trainer and jockey both said...."nobody is worthy". Interesting comment; one that I'm sure will drive the fees up even further (as if they needed much incentive)

She was bought for $60K....one of the better investments of the owner's life.

If you were taking your rare, highly collectable Ferrari to the Barrett Jackson auction would you tow it there with a towtruck? That horse is well worth the money for that jet.

5M for the Breeders Cup.
How much money have the owners made with that horse?

She is not just a horse.

I'm not saying its bad idea I agree that they need to take care of a $$$ investment like that it was just funny seeing a horse get out of this jet, I talked to my buddy who is a pilot and he has flown horses like that before, and he flys 747. I guess the horses are ok with it.. Just thought it was intresting

The horse will most likely earn more money retired.

The most dangerous part of any trip is the ride to the airport. They are minimising their risk exposure and I'm sure the stress will be less too.

The only penis she will see will be in the field 100 yards away. They will harvest her eggs to be put into other mares. She will have lots of foals $$$$$$$. Something like 70% or more of the foals genes come from the mare.

Didn't the winner of the Derby trailer his horse from Texas a couple of years ago, with a pick-up and a small trailer?

Some one needs a course in genetics.

It's a 50/50 split for organisms the reproduce "sexually."

Lots of winnings but do you have any idea what it takes to get a horse to that level $$$$. The purchase is the cheap part!

Actually, the X chromosome is larger than the Y chromosome. Women have XX and men have XY.
