Default Brought My Wife Home Tonight

After 7 nights in ICU with a scary blood clot, my wife was given the boot and I drove her home tonight. It is going to be a long recovery, but she is finally headed in the right direction. She's taking an oxycodone induced nap as i am typing.

Several members here provided me with great information and terms to research which ended up helping tremendously. At 45, hearing terms like very serious from a surgeon, possibly fatal and liver transplant team were difficult to handle.

Thank you to everyone who provided words of encouragement and prayers.

Jeff,
Bless your wife, always cherish her, and let her know how important she is in your and your daughters lives. The little, everyday things are the most important...

Wish you the best, glad to hear she's recovering. It will sure be a nice fishing trip when she's able to get out on the water. God bless.

Great to hear things are better.
Such a huge relief to you and the family.
Make sure she takes things slow, don't let her jump right back into the fray.
Often times, when ppl get out of the hospital and go home, they find things they "need" to do around the house. Don't let her, get it all done or hide it from her...
