Stiff legged and out cold - that's two fights in a row. Boy will this ever bruise Roy Jones Jr.'s ego.

It's sad, but it happens to the best of them, and he was the best. Imagine only 35 and over the hill

You know Mark when I watched the De La Hoya vs Hopkins fight last week, De La Hoya was obviously offensively faster then Hopkins. But as fast as that was, Hopkins was faster yet defensively, which caused De La Hoya to miss repeatedly throughout the fit - that HAD TO royally piss Oscar off and discourage him.

Now as far as Roy Jones Jr. goes, he obviously doesn't have the defensive reflexes he once had, nor does he have the defensive reflexes Bernard Hopkins does. I think if Roy is to continue his boxing career he is going to have to re-invent himself. Both Tarver and Johnson would not have KO'd Jones in the manner they did if Jones was carrying his left hand up where 99.7% all boxers do. But I totally understand why Jones carries his left so low - it has always been an Ace up his sleeve - but now that Ace is coming at a real heavy price.

So do you think this will be the last of Roy we will see in the ring?

For the sake of his health and what remains of his legacy I surely hope it's over for Jr. That hit he took was nasty for sure and he is lucky he wasn't fighting a harder puncher. As for Delahoya I think he will fight atleast once more all though i thought he was finished 2 years ago.
