Default New Toy

A good friend's son got married this weekend. We cooked for the rehersal dinner. He had one propane cooker for the butts but we needed another, preferably charcoal, for the chicken. I called a couple people I knew and theirs had rusted out and been trashed. Their comments were "I wish somebody would get one so we could share their's like I did mine". So, I looked on Craigslist and found this one about 30 miles away.

We cooked 66 chicken halves with 40 lbs of charcoal in a little over 2 hours. The only bitch is the clean up afterwards. But, I guess I now have the "community" cooker.

Sweet! Nice find!

I've noticed more of those advertised on CL and such now than I ever have.

I guess they are one of the first things to go before the house...
