Default Maryland Governors Debate (good line)

In one of the recent Maryland Governors debate, Gov. O'Malley (D) mentioned how he was eager to welcome the "new Americans" (illegals) into our country with immigration reform. Ehrlich (R) countered with "So, if these same folks break into my home does that mean they are now part of my family?"
O'Malley had no response.

I really hope OweMalley gets the hook but I am not optimistic given the leftist tendencies of most of our fellow Marylanders.

Yeah, i don't understand it either. I love the Chesapeake, and Maryland has some absolutely beautiful places, but i would NEVER even consider living there due to the lunacy of the political landscape.

Look up "Arrogant" in the dictionary and you will see a picture of Martin O'Malley.

I got an email today that said:
"The good news is we're having an election on Nov. 2
The bad news is that someone will win."

Bob E. wants to follow in a similar path of Chris Christie.
If he does get in, I don't want to hear a bunch of excuses of how his hands were tied and "they" wouldn't let him get anything done.
I'm so sick of weak excuses from all of them, National and local. It's always the other party's fault.

I am so sick of the bashing ads. It's pathetic.

If I'd see an ad where the candidate would just tell me only their credentials, what they have done, and what they will do they'd immediately get my attention and jump to the top of my list.

I concur. I guess since so many of them are on the wrong side of the issues all they have left to do is smear their opponents.
Rarely do you see any of them offer solutions to the problems facing the country.

They use attack ads for a reason: They work. If they don't get elected, their ideas have no chance. They have to get elected first. Some of them are funny too.

The OweMoney ones irritate the hell out of me though becuasue they are a bunch of lies.

"Ehrlich raised your property tax 72%.." Really? I though it was the increase in value since he was gov during the housing bubble.

Not to mention the state has almost nothing to do with county and local property taxes.
