Default Ipod help

Ipod touch wont respond at all. I've had it charging plenty yet will not turn on. Any others had this trouble?
Of course it's out of warranty, Have you any of you sent one in for repair?
At 229.00 for the new ones should I just make the Best Buy run?

Do a google for a reset procedure. If that doesnt fix it, you be done. In my opinion Ipods are low quality. I have used up about 4 of them.

Pop the battery out for a little while and try again.

I hate that they need to be jail broken to get morel accessibility. Proprietary programs, apps, bs suck with them. But when they are new the cool factor always gets me.

Default If buying a new one

Just do the reset, as pointed out above, like all computer things they get confused after a while. Now if buying a new one head to the Apple store or on line, not Best Buy, and get a 4th generation one, not available in any other place yet.

To reset you hold the Power button and Home button for 10 seconds..

True, the update a few weeks ago SUCKED but the newest update seems to be better. I also purchased "free memory" (?) for $1 and it helped clear the cache and made it run loads faster on my iPhone 3G.

Waiting for the 4G to come out... AT&T is slated to go live w/4G next spring/early summer. Sure Apple will be peddling their latest innovation that everyone will scramble to keep up with..

"Low Quality" - that's funny.

Low quality refers to 4 Ipods dying in 3 weeks. I don't what else I would call that. They were replaced at no charge but still, inconvenient to say the least.

Course you can call it whatever you want.

I have an ipod classic that I never use.It does have lots of music on it .I am wondering what if anything I could do to hook it to the stereo in my boat.advise if you can.

I have the y connector plugged it in to the rca jacks hanging down from the stereo, nothing.I don't know if those are outputs or inputs.Plus I dont see anaux. button. This is a tape, cd, am/fm with a 10 cd changer.Don't have a manual and went on line and can't find it either, sure could use some direction.

Chances are good you can, but you'll need to match out your connectors for both the iPod and the radio for it to be possible.
I have my Ipod connected to my stereo via one cable. Works well.

Where would it connect and what cable would i be using?;?could it be those rca plugs in the picture??red and white?
I do have the car kit ,a cassette that plugs into the ipod and goes in the cassette player and that works good.

For a small boat rather than putting all the extra work into getting the rca jacks and stuff they sell a fm thingy that will transmit a low FM signal so that your radio can pick it up and you play your music thru the radio. Easy stuff you can pick them up at radio shack, best buy, ETC

You have a 1/8" plug for the earphone you can use if you also have it on the stereo.
You can also buy an iPod plug that goes into the big jack on the bottom and then to your stereo.
All brands are different probably.

Lineside, did you get it squared-away?
