Default Why...

Why do people that are getting their picture taken, "flip the bird" to the person taking the photo?
Are they supposed to be tough or something?

I've never understood that.
But then again, there are a lot of things I don't understand about (stupid) people.

Not a complaint, just a question.
Never had an issue taking photos of my friends and family.
A photo on another thread brought it to mind.

They should all be added to the Douche baggery thread. I've always wondered the same. Unless someone went to Texas and the Longhorns UNIV, what else does doing that hand symbol mean? I'm cool, I'm old? Flying the finger in a picture to me is a deep psychological scream for help, but that's a whole other thread I guess.

Shamus..........HUuuu Ah .....we served together, maybe not "in theater"......but I was with "a unit" in Intel at Vicenza, IT about 50 miles off base with the USAF. The 101 Airborne was there and we were off base as a discrete unit SCIF. I loved hanging with the army boys, they flew me over on a Huey to get my car after it was shipped over. This was the conversation......walking down the street on base and see a chopper landing.............go over to the ops sergeant and ask if they are going to XXX forgot the processing base name on the east coast of Italy. Told him I needed to pick up my car but didn't want to drive, he gets with his CO and works a deal, next thing I know I get a ride to go pick up my car from the US in an open side bay chopper over the Italian mountains. They dropped me right in the field where my car was!! I love serving and our military, wish there wasn't an age limit, I'm still a great analyst, just not to AF-35-10 standards, so......

I also had some good times with the British SAS.......never mess with them.....

Abaco24 USAF 1985-1991 Intel Officer 308th Emerald Knights and 5ATAF NATO, Northern Italy (when the Soviets were still bad guys)

I flew in the back of these.on training missions.............click the 4 little arrows to go full screen.........enjoy the ride.............when you see the pilots view, that's real speed as to what it's like at 500 feet and 600 KTS low level.

They are showing that their IQ is in the single digits and they know that they have an ugly mug.

Within there Jeff lies the answer, you have to be stupid to understand stupid people, that or highly trained in understanding stupid people. The rest of us just see stupid as stupid does.

Not exactly a James Bond moment is it?

Along the same lines; newlyweds jamming cake into one another's faces. What's that all about? A symbol of respect for your new spouse?

Again, the parents (and I use that term loosely) must be very proud their little bundle of joy is on the internet.
I bet VT loves it. (NOT!)
The VT looks photo-shopped, the middle finger, not so much.
