Next month I am shipping my 1983 cj8 scrambler down so if you this jeep in Port Charlotte just Honk and Wave.We wont have to trailer it to far to get to water .

We were winched out that day. The Platte river here is all sand . The jeep in front of us stalled out and in seconds we were sinking in the sand. Usually as long as the wheels keep spinning ( slowly ) we will keep moving , When you stop ,the sand under your tires starts disapearing . Its just like standind on a beach when the wave goes out and you feel the sand under your feet go out with the wave. My jeep snorkel is through the fire wall and under my dash. Alot of the jeeps here will rig thier air tank to the differentials to keep the water from going in with a little air pressure. On that day we drained everything and were back in the river in less than an hour.

Congrats on the new H-S. Those are great little boats and the Johnson is pretty bullet-proof.

The thatched roof was what I was keying on. I couldn't remember what was next door and how far down Sanroc Marina is.

That has to be one of the worst forums for any useful information on the internets.

That is, unless you like to read BS posted by 16-25 year olds.

Sounds like you've been ribbed there too haha ...

Me too, 4wheelin' is another thing of mine, I joined Pirate and asked a question and all they did was make fun of me...

Mind you some of it was pretty funny but ... whatever.

Seriously dude, great jeep and I love the boat too... you are in for some real adventure!

He loves the Jeep rides . All you have to say is jeep and both dogs run for the garage . We just got back from a little putt around the area.
