Default What do I get my wife for Mother's Day?

I have been struggling with ideas and am running out of time. Something different, unique, personal. We do not have time right now to go out on a date night or a gift certificate to salon.
She is 30 and a mother of 3.
We just had #3 this past March.

Any ideas?
Budget is $500.

Thanks!

Cook her a gourmet meal. Candle light dinner, maybe. With 3 kids that might be a little difficult. Is she a stay-at-home mom? If she is, I can tell you as a stay-at-home dad, there's nothing like a day or 2 off. Watch the kids and let her do whatever her heart desires on Mother's Day or another day to be named later.

Do not get her an anchor ball.

It didn't work well as a Christmas gift and I'm sure it won't fly for Mother's Day.

If she likes to read, I would suggest a Kindle (the large one), my wife loves hers. Right at $500.

Nothing. She is not your mother. Get your mom something nice. Yeah, it does not work for me either.

I am taking my mom and my family out to a very nice lunch on Mother's Day. I also bought my mom a book that she said she wanted.

Our anniversary falls on mother's day this year, as it does often. Her parents are watching our daughter and we are going to a B&B for the weekend till we come back to do Mother's day with her mother. Other than that, a mother's ring is always nice.

She is your wife not your mother so give the 3 kids a $50.00 each and let them take her off for the day.

You could buy her a ring with the birthstone of one of your children. Then that will give you something to get her for the next 2 Mother's days. Next year it could be a pendant with a different birthstone and then it could be ear rings with the third birthstone.

My Mom passed away this March so I decided to focus on my wife.
Our kids are 2mths-almost 4yrs so I just assumed handing them a few dollars was not a "cost effective" option.

I cook several times a week for us including steak, shrimp etc so I felt like it just would not mean as much to her as it would other Mom's-wifes.
She works but is currently on maternity leave and with the breast feeding thing every 3 hours etc, etc getting away for a few days will have to be for another time.

Something that is just for her in an almost selfish deserving way if that makes sense....She has jewlery and the other standard spl occasion gifts.

Thanks for the ideas so far and PLEASE keep them coming!

That's a great idea, I just bought the old battle axe one, she's a big reader.
