Question Any Pool Guys Here?

I need to replace a leaking swimquip skimmer and could use some tips. I dug all around it but don't see how it attaches to the pool. It's the one with two lines on the bottom of it.

Thanks.

Concrete poured around the throat of the skimmer holds it in place. In order to remove it you usually have to break the old skimmer to get it out. A small chipping hammer is usually helpfull to get the old one out and to prepare the whole to cement a new one in.
