Default 4 time MVP, 1 Ring, Best Team of Decade, Really?

Brees brought his A game. The Saints played hard and the coach Beliceked the Colts. It must have been tough for Archie to watch his son lose and the team he could never win the big one for beat his son. Ouch. I love Peyton Manning but it's a little annoying that people look at him and the Colts with such rose-colored glasses. The self-proclaimed team of the decade. Maybe all time greatest, blah, blah, blah. Let's wait a couple more seasons. Rothlisberger and Brady might have a little something to say about Manning's clutchness when it counts most.

If you asked me which quarterback I would want win one game on it's biggest stage among current players....I would have to give the rock to Tom Brady. He has the best postseason winning percentage and is clutch as clutch gets. Even in the Suberbowl Loss everyone forgets Brady's Drive down the field before Eli chucked the ball blindly into triple coverage, on an arguable "In the Grasp"(payback for belichek and the tuck rule.lol) and the Football Gods shined on David Tyree.
Brady has the season TD record. Not to mention throwing 8int's when they know you're throwing it a ton. For me that's what makes' Brady's season better than Marino or Manning...look at that in print 50-8...video game
The best regular season for a quarterback.
Most accurate Playoff game.
16-0 regular season, I love when people say they werent even the best 18-1 team cause they didn't win the SB. He is the only quarterback to show up to the SB 18-0. Weren't the 72 Dolphins 17-0 obviously they arent better that those 72 Dolphins but it puts into perspective. Point is the offense he ran in 2007 was the greatest of the last 25 years.
The best playoff record...better than Montana ,numerically obviously, Brady's 3-4 in the SB Montana obviously is 4-4.
He is up there in game winning drives
His wife being the richest supermodel in the world is'nt bad either
What did Ricky Bobby Say,"...I wake up in the morning and I piss excellence." lol

I know people always say system this system that. Most of his carreer his recievers have been subpar he had defense but the last few years he has carried the defense. He has proved that you can work to be the best at the position. Sanchez, Flacco kinda remind me of him. Have you ever watch him zoned in pre'snap and his drop/step/release....play fake...lethal....he is hated by so many for so many great reasons....Peyton and all of Indy used to have nightmares

If I got to pick from anyone I have seen in my lifetime to win the one biggest game ever I'd take Montana, Brady Backing him up.

I thought we already agreed that the Patriots were the best team of the prior decade?

Regular season records mean squat. Indy plays indoors in a perennially weak division. He's had top shelf receivers and the same core of receivers for many consecutive years. This allows continuity of timing and 8 games in perfect conditions. Being in the southern division means he may see a snow game and he may see a 30 degree game but it's not likely.
9-9 in playoffs
1-1 in SB
4 MVP's yet he proved once again under pressure he tightens up. This is seen by his teammates, causing them to do the same. The Wayne drop at the end of the game is proof of the formula. Even with the stupid roughing penalty that stopped the clock they couldn't get it close.
Congrats to the Saints maybe now the rest of the country can get it's fema trailers back

To say these QB's and even WR's are better than the likes of Marino, Montana, Elway, Rice, Monk etc is crazy those guys played in an era when the defenders could be all over you from the line of scrimage to the end zone without a penalty now after 5 yards you touch the guy its a penalty give those guys the same rules and watch how even greater they would of been. But the Patriots have been the best team the last 10 years or so

Poor Terry Bradshaw, in these conversations his name never gets uttered. Only has 4 rings and 2 Super Bowl MVP's.

Indy didn't go for the "undefeated season" and now their season was just about a total loss - sad ; and their mgm't deserved it. Brees was better than Manning and the Saints coaching staff out coached the guys from Indy.

Congratulations to the Saints - their fans waited long enough.

Only because the STEEL CURTAIN defense carried his team, otherwise he would have 0 rings.

Sore looser that is what you are New England was last decade's team ,and not only last decade's team but probably the best ever since back in the early days there was no free agency and players stayed with a team forever creating a more consistent framework ,and having more chemistry that was achieved over time. THANKS BREES AND SAINTS you guys shut down the poster child of the NFL , 4 time mvp? I do not think so. Sorry about your damned luck COLTS.

Wait... what about the Belichick the defensive genius, guess his defenses sucked right??? Uh, and getting the 2 Super Bowl MVP's means you were the best player in the Super Bowl.

You can call it being a sore loser or whatever you like, I didn't call them cheaters, the NFL did. and I'm certainly not a Colts fan, genius, I was rooting for the Saints.

The Pats had a pretty good defense ,but was not as good as the legendary steel curtain ,or even as good as the Ravens of 2000 .

It all boils down to envy the Pats are the only team to go to 5 division championships in a decade ,4 superbowls winning 3 in the free agency era .I would be envious too if my team sucked as bad as NY teams sucked for the last decade except for the 07 lucky Giants

Don't sweat it, listen I would be upset also if those illustrious Pat championships were clouded by a haze of proven cheating, penalized by the league. It's can't be easy to think what might have been if you guys played it fair, particularly when the glory days are now LONG in the past since "pretty good" defense that you called it is now horrid..

Same exact thing ,we had the QB to beat ,great coaching, ok receivers, young offensive line and a pretty good defense .It was a team that gelled together .If the league thought that what they did could have changed the outcome of the game they would have stripped them of the Lombardi title ,banned Belichick ,and the entire coaching staff. It was a dirty tactic by the looser of Erick Mangini to try to derail the Pats since he became the Jets coach. Been from NY i did not think you were a Colts fan . I rooted for the Saints because i will never like Payton Manning the poster child of the NFL.

At the risk of copyright infringement, I'm borrowing the following from Birdman, because I love it:

So why do you bring this up now? Is it because the Pats are on the down slide because trying to replace player after player has finally caught up to the team. The owner is too cheap to sign the core players and after letting so many walk the team is on the skids. Also how many SB's have they won after they got caught cheating?
