I just played it for my 18 year old daughter and her boyfriend. For some reason he didn't find it as funny as I did

Thanks for sharing! I also took the time to watch "Run like the wind", you can see the love in your daughters smile. Anyone could just tell at the end she was going to say, "I love you daddy!" Not much better then hearing those words!

Can't wait til mine is old enough.

Thanks 08087. I have some fine children. When they were teenagers they thought I was a "Hyperagressive Barbarian". I made the girl's boyfriends recite my dating rules (while standing under the gun rack in the living room). They would stand in front of me (I am 6'5"} and say "No drinking, no drugs, no sex and be home before 11:00 Sir." I would add "No hands below the belt either and Ya'll have a good time"

I just listened to that song, and a few more on the blog... Wow, congratulations. What a great child you have! Also, quite talented and funny! Thanks for sharing, it made my morning that much brighter!

I enjoyed it, thanks for sharing. As the father of a little girl, I have not made it to the barbarian stage yet but I am sure it is comming.

I am a firm believer in the "Barbarian Stuff'. Once they go off to school then it is "Have fun and be careful. Always use protection. Do not tell your Mama. I am the Father Confessor. Pick a smart guy in case I have to raise your daughter..I want a smart one. You should stretch your wings and fly....fly to quality in all things. Tell you true love to listen to this song if there are any questions."

That was funny. I have an 8 month old girl. Still a ways to go, but I'm sure that time will be here in a blink of an eye.

You should be. She comes across on that video as a fine young lady that knows the boundries and knows her daddy.....heaven help anyone that crosses either.

Haha. That is a great song. My girls are 3 and 9 months. Judging from Katie's blog, you did good, hope I am that lucky.

Also, she sounds seriously good. Love that voice, and the playing is great too.

Good Job!

That is great. Possum on the grill is hilarious.

I'd watch that every night just to hear the end.

Just1more, that is funny but I really did terrorize the little high school boys. I, however, was put to shame by my hunting buddy, Stu. On his daughter's first date (car date as opposed to other boy/girl/movie/skating rink stuff) when his girl's suitor arrived Stu grabbed him by the ears and planted a wet kiss on the poor kid's lips and said "Don't do anything with my daughter you do not want me to do with you".
It was scandalous.

Good job!!! Be proud; she's a sweetie, and as the father of 2 daughters, I'm on the same page.

That was great, you should be proud of the girl you raised. The love for you is evident. I sent a link my daughter to show her boyfriend as he is coming to meet us for the first time in March.
