Default Mid Atlantic Blizzard Round 2

We are stocking up on snow shovels for another monster storm. I was born and raised here, and I can't remember this many days with snow on the ground.

Riding down Rte 2, I was amazed the the massive staging going on in the parking lots. Someone is scared. My wife picked this weekend for a girls weekend in NYC, so it is me and three kids under 6. Please send help. She was in Boston for the last storm. She has had 4 weekends to herself in 5 years, and two of them have been for blizzards. Take that groundhog.

I predict some pretty cool pictures some Sunday.

I'm in the Va Beach area and on the home form work yesterday there was a convoy of around 7 dump trucks full of salt and they looked like they where headed north. It looks like some areas could get well over 2 ' of snow.

all kinds of great rumors about a cover up. they are witholding the actual snow fall prediction to avoid a panic. I heard the three times today. One connected to DMV snowplow staff, one to the NOAA, and my favorite, -NSA.

To late for that. Guess you have not been near a gas station or super market this morning.

I'm excited!

Both my wife and I got out of work early. We have lots of groceries in the house. We are going to dust off the x-country skis tomorrow and try to enjoy it as much as we can.

It gives me a feeling of Deja vu ,it looks very similar to that year ,but i was smarter then and left the wife at home while i flew away in the am beating the storm by 6 hours. I was enjoying 90 degree weather in PR .
