Default Help with superstition stuff, how to avoid mirror-breaking-bad-luck

Let me start saying that I'm usually not superstitious AT ALL...

It goes that we bought a home last Xmas and we are doing a lot of remodeling. House is from th 80's and the master bathroom looks like the 20's.
The problem (well not really a problem) is that every wall on the bathroom is covered in mirrors!!!!
floor to ceiling!!!!! EVERY SINGLE WALL!!!! I think that most is 4x8 sheets of mirror... every little flat surface is mirror no matter how small...

We want to take them all out, so eventually at least one (insert wishful thinking here)is going to brake, and ell will be shattered on the dumpster
so how do I avoid the gazillions of years of bad luck??????

I read it on Feng shui books that in dealing with broken glasses you should throw it and pour some salt on it.

Superstition, superstitious? Yeah I'd say I am to a degree. Many moons back I broke a mirror and I did get my butt kick for the next seven years or so. I'm no pussy, but sure as shit stinks I do NOT want to go down that road again. Therefore I wouldn't be touching those mirrors if it was me. I'd hire someone to remove them with me out of the house!

Spray paint them first so they are no longer functional as mirrors - this way the "other side" can't see what you are doing. Krylon works best.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiicccccccccccccccce Idea !!!!!!!!!!

I found out that the whole 7 years thing goes like the romans thought that the mirror was some type of window to the soul so breaking a mirror would distort ones soul, ergo health problems... they thought that ones soul renew itself every 7 years.
I'm 32, so worst case scenario I have only 3 more years of bad luck until my soul (my wife says I do not have one, so should not worry) regenerates!!!!

I think I can take that....if you think about it... I've been married for the last 9 years!!!! how much worse than that could it be?????

Well no, not really Al, but I did take your life experiences to heart though. Shit's to be you buddy.
Better luck with the next one! And I hope the doctors can fix that LITTLE problem of yours.

wait til midnight and with all the lights out, say "Candy Man" three times into the mirror. ummmm, nevermind, cover the mirrors with tape to keep from shattering as you remove them and wear safety glasses...
