Default Black and Gold to the Superbowl

Just woke up and I still can't believe it. Started the day with screwdrivers over brunch at Commander's, screamed my face off in the Dome, and ended it celebrating down in the Quarter. It was hug a stranger day at the dome and in the Quarter last night. I have to say that the Viking fans were very gracious in defeat. They seemed to sense that it was a special moment for the WhoDat Nation. They must think that we are all nuts.

Guess I'll turn on the TV and listen to ESPN say that Saints got lucky again, and how Peyton Manning will carve us up, blah,blah,blah....

P.S. How many times will you hear the word Manning (be it Archie, Eli, or Peyton) in the next two weeks?

Those pansys are Black and YELLOW.

You are correct on your other point - they are not playing in the Super Bowl.

Thats right. You have to make the playoffs to have a shot at the Superbowl. Better luck next year.

I saw a dude in a viking costume, a very good one, on the news. he was partying on Bourbon with the saints fans, talking about how much he loves us down here, and he never had a no. 2 team, but now he does and it's the Saints.

So many Vike fans are complaining about the interference call in OT. I guess the unsportsman like against our DE was a good call and the non-call when they did the exact same thing to Brees where not relevant. Also 3 lost turnovers and an injured, hurried Favre had nothing to do with it.

I'm glad the Viking fans that came to the game seemed to have a good time and say nice things about the city.

Oh gee, the Sucks I mean Saints ONE OF ONLY TWO TEAMS NEVER TO MAKE IT to the Superbowl finally get lucky, and you're slamming The Steelers? The Steelers are the Original Black and Gold. Lets see the Saints joined the NFL in 1967, The Steelers in 1933. How many Superbowl rings do the Saints have? That would be ZERO, The Steelers have how many? Oh thats right SIX. How many times have the Saints played in the Superbowl? ZERO. The Steelers have been to the Superbowl SEVEN times, and only lost once. The Saints are about to equal the Steelers losing record at the Superbowl, their very first time there.

What was your motivation to come onto this Saints thread and post in the first place? Secondly, you coming back with this post was sadly predictable. You are a frog.

Go start your own Steeler/NFL history thread.

P.S. If you are going to start an NFL history thread, bone up on some facts first. The Saints were one of 5 teams to never make it to the Superbowl. That number can now be reduced to 4.

And it only took how many years? Impressive....
My first comment was just about who has always been known as the Black and Gold. When the Steeler bashing started, I just fired back. Its not my fault your team sucks.

It is sad that all he has to do is brag about how the Steelers joined in 1933 It's in the past
I remember as a kid, every August we said this is the year and by November, what till next year. This is our year. I don't care how long it took.
We are in it!!!!!!!
