Default Poor Brett Farve, Poor Viking Fans

Brett Farve's career in a nutshell to me. One ring in 19 years...Plays hard, tough as a bull, great arm, all time TD leader, three weeks lata all time Int. leader...All he had to do was run and they were well within field goal range...

Yup, that last pass will haunt him the rest of his life.

That was a great game!
I'm sure plenty of Saint fans crapped
their seats too!
So this is NOT the year of Cinderella stories!
So who's going to win it all?

It pains me to say this, but I think the Colts. i was not all that impressed with the way the Saints played overall. With that many conversions and the Saints home turf I would have expected a bit of a blowout. Farve was a bit beat towards the end of the game which certainly had some impact. Not sure if the same strategy will work with Manning. I hope it does because I am not a Colts fan.

So Brett's last throw with Green Bay was an interception - maybe the same now?

It pained me to see the refs carry the Saints in that final drive in OT. There was no way that was interference and there is no way that was a catch!!!!!!!!!!! Crips I had flashbacks I was watching the Cowgirls.

Either way, the Saints didn't win that game, the Vikings lost it! Props to Favre for only throwing one pic, just to bad it was such a costly one........yes he should have ran the ball.

We should know by early August if he wil play/retire/play/retire/play/retire. I refuse to watch the guy play. I was a fan early on but the way he has ended his career as a wishy washy prom queen jerking everybody around while he does it has changed the way I view him completely.

Hell, they were already in field goal range until they got that stupid penalty for 12 men on the field. If not for that, Favre wouldn't have been looking at a passing play. It was dumb for him to try and force that one, but you can't place all the blame on him.

That being said, I wanted the Saints to win, but the Colts will turn them back into the Ain'ts in a couple of weeks.

Man I hate to say it, can hardly say it, I agree with Garett.... Saints got given the game by the refs. There were several after the play shots on Favre that were not called and the holding was not holding. He should have just ran and it would have have ended differently... Oh well, they just put off the loss by one game, Colts will spank'em anyways..

The man loves the game, i'm sure it would be a tough call retiring from something you love so much. I don't fault him for changing his mind, i think it was a difficult decision for him.
He is a great QB with a good attitude, and not cocky like many.
He arguably played his best year this year at 40 years old.
I have mad respect for the guy!

If, a big word I would say.

If a whole bunch of other people had done a few little things differently, they wouldn't have needed a field goal at the end of the game to win.

He threw two pics last night. I agree the refs gave the Saints some nice calls at the end of the game.

If you loose the turnover battle - you almost always loose

Peyton vs Farve would have been great !!

Peyton vs Eli's replacement ( Rivers for Eli, Brees to Saints ) has some pizzaz too

Should be an interesting SB

I lost respect for him when he laid down for Strahan so strahan could have the sack record. I was happy when he got hit hard ,and it is a shame he did not get hit any harder. Send the old man to pasture ,he did what he does best pass for interceptions .He added more ints. to his record. Grossly overated douche bag.

I have been a huge vikes fan for my 29 years and another nfc championship dud, for our defense to completly shut the saints down and our offense give the game away is heartbreaking. Our entire defense played their hearts out and without the turnovers the saints would have been lucky to get 10 points

The Vikes blew the game at the end with the stupid penalty and the Farve not running it.

I also agree with Garret that was NO PASS INTERFERENCE AND NO CATCH.
