Default Another barrett jackson thread

I've seen a few cars over the last couple of years that I thought were decent deals. Don't want to get in an argument with anyone on what cars I'm talking about because alot of the cars are half investment-half sentimental value which someone else's rice value may not be equal to yours. Just wandering what there commision is and do you have to pay state taxes if your an out-of-state bidder. And are there any other hidden fees.

10% buyers premium. Every state if different regarding taxes, so verify before purchase.

On last nights show they had a graphic showing fees. The seller pays an 8% commission and the buyer pays a 10% buyers premium. Plus what ever fees and taxes which were not specified. Bidders pay a $500 registration fee.

I do not follow the auction very closely but have watched it over the years. My impression (after Wednesday & Thursday only) is there is a big decrease in the number of bidders with an expected drop in prices. I will likely watch some this weekend to see if activity picks up.

I watch all hours of the auction, so I will look for it. Hopefully you don't come across the stage during a commercial.

Last year they talked about the sales tax issue, If you contracted an approved shipping co. to take the cars out of state you didn't have to pay Arizona sales tax. If you want to haul it yourself you had to pay the tax. They were saying that a lot of the cars involved were cheaper to pay a hauler than the tax. Laws at your state decide if you pay when you get it home.
