I owned the Glock and traded it for that Sig. The Glock was too small for my hands. Shoot it and let us know what your choice is. The Sig 239 with the Houge grip is rock solid. Glocks are good for what they are. It's a very well made piece, I just prefer others and I couldn't get used to the DAO trigger.

Do you like blondes, redheads, brunettes, ect?

I have the 239 and prefer it over the 27, but it is heavier. I just don't like the Glock trigger, and like the decocker and ability to double strike a misfire with the Sig.

I shoot the Sig more acurately as well, but not a big difference.

My 239 is 9mm...if it matters. Cheaper ammo and an extra round.

239 is also available in .357 Sig. What a flame thrower.

Just buy barrels, mags and shoot all 3.

Never tried the glock. Bought the GF a 239 .40 several years ago. She loves it, (and carries it). Load it, decock it and good to go. I like it but prefer my H&K 45C.

I was trained on Glocks (over 20 years ago) so I carry Glocks. It has always done the deed and come away the winner in many street shootouts and combat shoots. Sig makes a nice weapon but for concealed firepower it is hard to beat the Glock 27 in size, weight, ammo capacity. Many people with my dept (a large agency) swear they shoot the 27 better or as good as the full size Glock 22. It rides with me everyday as a back up. The Sig has a good rep also so I think it will come to what you want. I love carring my 27 in a front pocket holster, even in shorts its hard to tell I am armed... Good Luck

I have the Glock 23, which I believe is the mid size model. The full size was too big, and the compact was way too small ( I have slightly big hands ). The Glock 23 fitted me perfectly...

I swear by the Glock 27 with a Pearce grip extension. Check out Pearce grips. Without it I find it too small for my hand, but it is very easy to conceal.

They are both good guns.....do you prefer 1911 style controls or the point and shoot style? This comes down to personal preference....decide which one feels the best to you and points the best for you ....and which controls you are comfortable operating. If your main goal is concealability/reliability I don't think their is a much better line up than the Glock 26,27,36. I do love that Kimber Ultra II with the Crimson Trace.

I carry a Glock 27 with a Pearce adapter when in plain clothes. It is a great little weapon and maintenance is way easy. Can't say anything bad about Sig. For those that dis the Glock for not having an active safety should remember that a gun is only as safe as the person that carries it. Don't pull the trigger and it won't shoot. Can't really go wrong either way but I think the Glock is a little more concealable.

I carry the Sig P239 everyday. Great gun. Not a Glock fan, alleged trigger "safety"....
