Default Where to launch my new (to me) boat?

I just bought an 18 foot bowrider and am looking to get back into boating with my family. I live in eastern Massachusetts in between Boston and Providence. We are not really into fishing and my boat is not set up for that. We just love cruising, being outside, dockside restaurants, beaching, sightseeing, drinking a few cold ones, maybe a little water skiing or tubing occaisionally. We plan to trailer the boat and are looking for areas to go and launch ramps. Salt or fresh water are okay with me. Maybe some lake days and some Cape Cod or Rhode Island days. Anyone from this area that can give us some ideas? Can't wait until spring!
