Default It is back, American Idol

Well came home from the office tonight and spilled my chinese takeout in the floor so my boys( 2 labs Elvis and Vegas) ate well. Then scrounged around the kitchen and found something to eat and sit down and the Admiral had the remote and guess what I see AMERICAN IDOL.

Guess I can tolerate it for her since she will sit and watch all the hunting and fishing shows I watch as well as the last few months of FOOTBALL. Not much I can do but sit here and suffer but it is quality time with the Admiral

Ok I'll admit I like American Idol, but only the beginning when they do the auditions. Its funny watching all those nuts that think they can sing. Other than that I could care less about it. Thought its nice to see the occasional young girl with a killer voice and a dream of making something out of it.

Tonight's episode did have somewhat of a boating theme. One of the contestants works on one of those big tourist speed boats and they showed it doing doughnuts in the water.

This will be Simon's LAST season. Couple that with Paula gone and Helen Degenerated "on tap" and it's THE END.

'Course there's always "America's Got Talent" (NOT!) and "Dancing With The Stars(?)" to top off your evenin'.

Now, they'll have to bring out the BIG guns to fix all this!

Yeah Simon makes the show as far as the judges go. I hate Ellen Degenerate, I'm sure she will try to inject her dry comedy into the show. If she dances I might have to write some hate mail. LOL

I'm looking forward to see if that one hippy chick tries out again this year....you know the one that likes to flip Simon off. What would kill me even more would be if she had taken singing lessons this past year and made it to Hollyweird, and STILL flipped Simon off.

Don't think it's gonna happen. She died six months ago in a hit and run.

Guess that is why I sit here and tolerate it, the tryouts can be funny to watch.

Oh well college football is over and NFL is down to weekends and nothing else to watch

I hate the show so I am even ashamed to know this little factoid. Simon leaving the show is nothing more than positioning in the public eye. It made it's run just like the Spice Girls and Next Pop Star (something like that)

So why do I mention the Spice Girls, Next Pop Star, and AI??? Wanna take a guess at who the creator and producer is?? If you guessed Simon.. Bingo!

I always thought the auditions did a good job showing just how much mental illness there is among the younger population not to mention the family members and close friends that actually encourage them to keep going!

I Googled "turds + fur coats"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to copy it, just right click on the pic, hit "Copy", open your "Desktop", left click, then hit "Paste".

Just make sure it doesn't give you some "virus" (or CRABS!)!

Regards,
