Default How far will Jets go?

The 2 1/2 point "underdogs" vs Cinn looked like
a real contender last night! To be called underdogs after
the beating they gave them last week was probably due more to
the Jet lore of choking than the way this team has played!
Maybe the Jets will luck out
and whoever they meet will lose some good guys to injuries!
Like some of those guys who took a Sunday or 2 off...

I know better than to place my hope on the Jets! That's why I'm
a Giant fan! But look where that got me!

I don't know if your in NY, but here, the Jets fans are insane. After last week they were talking so much sh!t you would have thought they were 16-0.

It all depends on how their defense holds up ,and how well their opponents stop the run . The little boy Sanchez will not beat any top tier team if he is basically the only option. Put a little pressure on the boy and he will collapse .I do not see them making it out of the next round .The Bengals were a hurting team without too many options in receivers after Chris Henry died ,and it showed in performance since it happened .Palmer relied on him more than in Chad . So they bit the dust yesterday. I cannot stand Tubby boy Rex Ryan ,he is a Belichick wannabe .

I am a Phins fan so take what I type with a grain of salt. The Jets did look good against Cincy but Cincy has been living off of the success from the first of the season. (1 win in last 5 or 6 I believe). So I wouldn't measure them against the Wild Card win.....

The Jets will face either Indy or the Chargers next week. My wallet says their season ends next weekend.

I am a Jet fan since before Joe Willy's supe bowl lap dance. They are bound to tease and disapoint me (and a few million other fans) by blowing a close game in the next week or two against a better team with some stupid antics or stupid coaching decision late in the game. I would much prefer that just get whooped. If the stars do align and they keep on going, as Fred Sanford would say "watch out Elizabeth, for it is the big one and I am coming to join you"

If the Jets win next weekend then anything is possible. Nobody gave the Giants much of a chance a couple of years ago.

The Jets and Cincy are both very weak teams! The Jets are 1 and done.

"You gotta believe". Good old Tug McGraw. Worked for the Mets years ago. I'm not ruling my Jets out. I gotta believe.

Two missed field goal...Cincy gave it away!
The Jets backed into the playoff , plain and simple.
Rex Ryan has the super bowl parade already scheduled. He'll be the only one there!

Sure. They're tough and challenge you physically, they can run the ball down your throat, they can defense the run and have a really good defensive backfield, they ask very little from their QB so he doesn't make mistakes, have good coaching, solid special teams, and can play in all weather. Sounds like the 2001 Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens to me.
