Default Boat Buying...How to determine boat prices?

Hello, long time forum reader, first time poster. I'm in the market to purchase a boat, and have narrowed it down between a Pursuit 3480 and a Contender 31 Open. My question for is how to determine a offer, given normal wear and tear of a used boat? I will be financing part of the boat (about half), and my banker says they don't go by NADA...they base loan value of a boat based on a marine survey?

On the Contenders I have researched...I haven't been able to find NADA values? On of the Contender I have been looking at is a 2007 31 Open in Bogart, Ga. The asking price is $105,000....knowing there's a descreprancy between asking and selling prices.

The other boats I've been watching are a number of Pursuit 3480's. One in Fla is a bank repo, 2005 3480. Seller has listed boat several places and with the option of putting new 4stroke engines on it. Bidding on the boat on ebay has gotten as high as 72,000 with the new 4S, but didn't meet the reserve price (also, only got to $54,100 on another). On one of the other sites same boat has been listed at $88000 with 2s, or $99,000-$110,000 with 4s. The other Pursuit 3480 is in Virginia beach and is a 2006....boat has been listed at $99,000 for several months.

How do I determine a price? All boats come with trailers, and I'll will inspect the boats before I make an offer...but given normal wear a tear, I'm having a hard time determining price? How does anyone determine "market value" in this crazy environment? I like the pursuits better, but not adverse to the Contender. Any advice?
