So true, I am amazed when I watch the Military channel shows with the B-17 and B-29 planes coming home from a 15 hour round trip, flying the return leg all shot up and wounded, yet making it home safe and sound.

They certainly do.

I was afraid to fly, so I took flying lessons.....take the control of a Cessna 172 and I guarantee your fears will be reduced.

I buy the latest greatest paperback book and start reading immediately after getting checked in. I do not stop reading until the plane is on the ground at the destination. I am very careful and particular about READING EVERY WORD. I focus on that book as though my life depended on it. Works every time. The time just flies (pun intended). Just make sure you don't buy a book that has planes crashing in it.
