How can I verify if a motorcycle has a lien in Florida?

I would think that you could look at UCC filings. I researched UCC in AL before I went to look at a boat in Mobile. I found out that the seller didn't actually own the boat. The title and financing were in his uncles name. The deal went downhill from there!

Thanks guys, I just sent an email to cracker to see if he can verify that for me. I don't have the tag # but I do have the Vin #, so I gave hm that. Hope he can help because I'm not from Florida, I'm from GA so it takes me about 7 hours to get to see the bike.

I wanna thank you guys for the help. An I also wanna thank Cracker for his help. I called the DMV and I was able to find out the the title is free and clear, no liens. Just had to give them the vin # and in less than a minute I had the info I was looking for.
