Default Time machine

I am almost finished with my time machine but now have to decide whether to set it for the future or the past. Once I set it I cannot change it back.

So I have two questions - 1 - would you want to go to the future or the past?

abd 2 - what would you want to find out about and what kind of information would you gather in either the future or the past.

Please answer this week as the flux capacitor is alredy warming up and I will have to leave by Saturday at 3 at the lastest.

Thanks

Bob

Ok I made up the part about the flux capacitor - my machine actually utilizes a Bose-Einstein Condensate and assumes Quantum Consciousness. There is no external energy source after departure.

I will try to post a piture but the dam thing seems to be already bending the light so it looks very distorted and almost invisible to the visible spectrum waves. So be ware, it will be blurry.

So when you say you can set it and they not change it do you mean it's a one shot deal and you can never come back to the present?

If so, then I wouldn't go.

If you can come back, then I would go back to the Jerusalem in the time of our Lord.

No thanks. Being around without showers, TP, decent food and the ability to travel just wouldn't cut it for me... From all accounts, HE was a helluva fisherman, though!

Go to the future, distant future and hope like hell they have the technology so you can build a proper time machine so you can come and go as you please in any time zone.

I'd be torn between going back to the harsh reality of the mid-evil times or the future of a 100 years...I'd like to see where our technology has taken us.

Anything specific - like transportation, defense, entertainment, space exploration, housing, etc?

Go BACK and find the moment this countries leaders took the left turn that led us to this whirlpool that is currently circling the toilet.
Your mission.....if you decide to accept.....is to make the majority of the leaders turn this country in the right direction, where hard consistent work is rewarded and the "takers" see that contributing IS the way to success, happiness and family values.

As of this minute, I cannot personally come back, but I will be able to communicate electronically. I have done one test but it was too far into the future and there was nothing there - no space, no time, no matter no dimensions whatsoever so I was not able to land or discern anything and ended up right back here. So if I chose the future I can only go up to about 1300 years.

One of my friends did exactly that and I think that is why we can only go 1300 or less years ahead from now on. Sorry.

Back to the late 60's or early 70's after looking up past winning lottery numbers.

Oct 19, 2005. $340 million Powerball. I'd even split it with the people who actually won. After all, I'm not greedy.

Go back 10 years. Find yourself and tell him not to go back ( i know , there are some timeline questions). Spend the next 10 years building wealth based upon your knowledge of the future.

I'd go back to 1770 and tell the founding fathers what things are like in this day and age, so they can be even more specific with the wording of all documents so we can hopefully prevent becoming what we've become.

Then I'll have lunch with TJ and have BF hook me up with a few of his lady friends and live it up on the knowledge I have of what and when things will be.

I would go to around 1850 or so to east Africa and take a .470 Nitro Express Holland & Holland double, a 500 Jefferey on a Mauser built by Harold Wolfe, and 7x57 on a Mauser built by John Rigby. This would put me in black powder timing but with strong Cordite Rifles. Area of choice would be the Kenyan Savannas.

I would want a 15 minute stop over to pick up Selous just before the WWI German Sniper shot him.

No return trip required.

PS, I have some flux capacitors in the Delorean if you need some. And there is a funny black leather brief case, I have never opened it, it has the initials "J.D." on it. I wonder what is in it?
