Through and through this new feature has nothing good written all over it! IMO it is the slippery slope that we should ALL worry about/ fear. IMO this feature will turn out to be a tool that can be worked against us! On the same note but a different page, this new feature is a means to pit us against each other......while the Mod sit back and watch and take notes - that's NFG AT ALL!@ You all think this is fun, but make NO mistake about it, this is a rating system and it is NOT us rating each other!

Just ask yourself, why would a company spend money for an IT department to implement something as stupid as this for the fun of it???? IB has never been on the cutting edge of leading this site.

When IB took over the site:
- at first we could slam anybody that we wanted to.
- then we could slam anybody that needed it.
- then we could not slam an individual that was a registered member of this site.
- then I got warned for slamming an idea that involved an individual on this site.
* then I was heavily warned not to defend my position or serious consequences I would pay.
- then I got warned for slamming an idea that did not involve anyone on this site.
- I have been warned about the way I word things.
- Modís have intervened in our posts warning us to keep thing civil or else.......the threads had not crossed the line yet we were being warned!
- an increasing number of posts have been yanked and sent down to the Bilge.
- others here have been warned for reasons they don't quite understand or for reasons that are becoming increasingly shallower.

The way I see things around here the doors are starting to close. It is turning into a site that we wonít be able to say what we want without the Modís approval, that or weíll say what we want to but weíll suffer the consequences for say it. How many of you have been kicked off other sites or quit other sites because of the controlling hands of the Mods? I see a strong pattern developing where the Modís are on some sort of quest or power trip and both conditions are directing at squashing our individual right to be individuals with individual thoughts.

I would have to assume there is some sort of data spread sheet keeping count of the +ís and -Ďs each person adds up. The people with X number of (-) comments Iíll bet you theyíll be receiving stern warnings to clean up their act or face banishment..........itís come people and they are knocking on the door!

Personally I think you are getting too worked up over a VERY COMMON thing used on many internet forums. Oh well... looks like they turned it off now anyway.

Actually, for the record, this Moderator thought that the reputation feature was dumber than dumb and served no useful purpose.

Now, I must find out how Garett made that post without my approving it first.

It's gone. And yes many can relate to what you say about watch what you say or else and you don't even have to swear to get on probation. Sometimes I'm a little confused about it all. That I maybe chastise for what I said and another be praised for what he said because it was funny. I just really try to stay out of controversy and just except what I get and move on

If you want to follow others sheep, that' up to you, but I've never been paid to smell the dung of others.

And for you coconut whackers out there, to coin a phrase I haven't heard in a while...........pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff fffffffft, you're not worth it!

You don't get worked up over the Internet?

Somebody pass that along to Garett for me as I'm pretty sure I'm on his ignore list.
