6'0" 195 lbs.

Skinny or fat? Depends on who you ask.

If it's the state govt.'s BMI, I'm horribly obese (I wear a size 32 waist pant, 33 inseam.)

If it's my mom, I need to put some damn meat on my bones, looks like I'm starving to death.

If you're asking what the difference is...
If your weight inhibits yourself or others, you're fat. Otherwise, it don't see it mattering much.

By the way, why did I even reply to this?

These things are popular where I am:

It's basically a fat meter that runs a micro electrical current through the body (you can't fell it) and hashes out the % of body fat based on the height, weight, and age data you store in it.

So I get talked into trying it ... "EMERGENCY! DIET! DIET! DIET!"

Now I'm on a low-fat diet -- switched from scotch to bourbon.

6'0" 191 pounds and accoring to any BMI calculator I am overweight.
Ideal weight would be 140-184lbs. I cannot imagine seeing how skinny a guy 6'0" and weighing 150lbs would be much less 140 lbs. I think my ribs would be sticking out at 140 lbs.

WhiteAndBlue why the question. There was another poster that had some of the same type of post CityOfAngels and he was a banned guy that came back to life only to be banned again not saying you are him. Did you know that you guys capitalize letters the same way, and run the 3 together. Just curious about the question

6'1" and 195 pounds. I don't consider myself to be in "great shape" but I don't consider myself over weight either. I am carring a slight beer gut though. Unfortunatly there is nothing that can be done about that. LOL

Most doctors agree that the problem with the BMI calculator is that is uses the same formula for both genders across all ages. Obviously not the best tool to use.... but it's what we currently have.

Now... for YOU... you are "technically" just over the border to the "overweight" category.... but I'd think not really. At your height / weight your BMI Score calculates to: 25.8 .... the border for Normal Weight to Overweight is 25 .... so really.... you are right on the border of the Normal Weight category.
