Default Arctic hurricane on Deadliest Catch

Anyone see this on the last few mins of tonights episode? WOW! They showed a preview of next week, one of the boats was on the rocks but they blured out the name so we wouldn't know which boat until next week.

The wind and spray was wild.

Pretty disapointing, they had the show title listed and the discription as tonights episode showing maydays and it is actually not till next week. I am really getting tired of these reality shows (deadliest catch/ axmen) mixing the footage around to make it look like something horrible is going to happen next week and it turns out to be something completely different or at the end and you have to wait another week to see what happens.

no thanks, ill be on the beach. cant even imagine how those boats roll. the heavy weather really shows their seamanship though....

compare some of those guys to the sea sheperds crew, never mind that just gave me a headache,

Just saying that the discovery and history channels have some good shows on their hands and maybe they shouldn't try so hard. The actual special they did before they turned it into a regular show was great, no drama and no trickery of the footage. I enjoy watching these guys work and would much rather watch a fishing or logging show any day, than american idol.

Looks like it may be that 65 or so footer from the pics - the one with the "new to the show" captain, with that BIG moustache. One of the "smaller" boats in the fleet.

Regards,

Regards,
thats what i was thinking too, it looked like the boat "incentive" . Guess his TV fame will be short lived considering he just got on the show.

I don't think that was the incentive... the boat shown was a trawler, pilot house front, and the incentive is a scow, pilot house rear.

Default boat on the rocks

After a little research im pretty darn shure the ship on the rocks was the western viking i found that it was a new boat but the vessel is now owned by a salvage company.

QUOTE I FOUND ON OWNERSHIP:F/V WESTERN VIKING

Currently owned by Magone Salvage and no long a fishing vessel

web site: http://deadliestreports.wordpress.co...estern-viking/

hmmm i froze my directv dvr and compared the photos and i have no doubt it was the western viking but you guys can make your own decision on it this is only my conclusion.

check it out guys and let me hear your thoughts?

this looks just like the boat the only differance is a white crane but that could be due to ice of corse
