I like so much about this story I don't know where to start - figure I'll just say:

Don't mess with the U.S.!!!

Edit: just to be sure I'm not misunderstood - I'm loving the latest part of this story - an unarmed American crew was somehow able to overpower the pirates and re-take control of their ship. Definitely NOT loving the original action, namely that a U.S.-crewed ship was attacked by pirates.

Defense Department officials confirmed that one pirate is in custody. A U.S. official said the status of the other pirates is unknown but they were reported to "be in the water."

"Noah?"
"Yes, God."
"How long can you tread water, Noah?"

As the saying goes, "Mess with the Bull and you will get the horns." It looks like the Captain is still being held hostage hopefully it will end in a good outcome.

I'm guessing that the ship was visited by "Snake Doctor & Associates".

Those pirates usually come aboard with semi auto and auto weapons. No way 20 "unarmed" crew members threw them in the water.

It will be interesting to see how the Navy handles it now to get the captain back. Hope they clean up that mess and end for good.

Under UN resolution #14353-AFW-6732 The US is not allowed to intervene, question the subjects or comment on the status of the crisis.

Now that resolution will certainly get us out of this pickle!
