Just heard on the radio the coroner has been called to Highland Hospital. No official announcements of any officer deaths, yet.

A family member is one of the investigators at the scene. He called me to tell me about it while enroute and then again during the clean-up.

One of the officers was given CPR at the scene before being transported to Highland.

There is a shocking (and sad) element to the event.

That's all that I can say for now.

Yeah, and there is a story behind one of the officer's that will come out shortly.

But it's not about him. Sad.

Three announced, plus one on life support. The family is enroute.

Just read the story, our prayers are sent to family, friends and co workers.

Such a shame to loose 4 men just trying to serve the public to some low life POS. I guess the only good thing to come out of this is the took him out also so the liberals in CA would not try and save him.

RIP

I guess it was kind of a busy day in Oakland, yesterday.

First, a man was found shot in an apt driveway -- dead.

30-mins later, two motorcycle cops were shot -- 1 dead, 1 brain dead.

2 hrs later, 3 SWAT cops were shot -- two dead, 1 minor injury.

Later, 3 people shot in a store robbery - all three in stable condition at the hospital.

What really gets my goat, is the news that the good citizens of Oakland stood by and harrassed and yelled expletives at the responding police and EMS who were performing CPR on the first fallen officers at the scene...sign of the Osama times...

For assault with a deadly weapon. And, they had a no-bail warrant out for him for breaking parole.

Prayers sent for the families.

Yeah, it's all over the news, probably why he started shooting. There was a no-bail arrest warrant issued for him due to parole violations.

Interesting stuff now coming out. Folks that know how this stuff works are questioning how 1 person is able to score 5 points against the cops. Me thinks somewhere, somehow, someone was not following procedures.

How does one shooter take out 2 cops at a traffic stop? -- the car was registered to guy with the arrest warrant. The cops didn't call in the car? -- they did. The cops weren't told the car was registered to someone convicted of assault with a deadly weapon --or that there was an arrest warrant for him? -- we don't know. Two traffic cops approach a car not expecting danger -- in the flatlands of Oakland? (Note: the flatlands are where the real Oakland scum thrives. Everything in the flatlands is dangerous! Grocery stores won't even go in there.)

How does one shooter score 3 points against a highly trained SWAT team? That SWAT team knew their target was an armed parolee that a couple hours earlier had scored two points against the motorcycle cops. What?!? -- they thought he wouldn't shoot at them?

Like I said, folks familiar with police procedures are starting to question how the events of yesterday played out. I suspect when all is said and done, what happened yesterday will make its way into future police training on what NOT to do -- and how NOT to do it.

As much as I'd like to balme the magic *****, this is not a sign of the osama obama times. Sad to say that o-town has been a shithole for most of our lifetimes and these lowlives kill each other every day. Unfortunately, this piece of shit took a few cops with them this time. As far as I'm concerned, this piece of shit being dead saves us the hassle of some scumbag lawyer trying to tell us that the "misguided youths were in the process of turning thier lives around and were in the verge of releasing thier first rap album". IMO, it's best that this asshole is gone-society adds by subtraction...

The dead POS's family is now all over the news stating what a good guy he was. They are blaming the parole system for not offering him what he needed to keep him in line! WTF!

Typical response!

And some of the other NIMRODS in town are now stirring it up about the recent shooting at the BART station and said how "justice" was served to the families of the slain officer's in some sort of sick retaliation. Now they supposedly know how the victims of police brutality feel. Please...

Like one incident had anything what-so-ever to do with the other!

They also had some retired skank from the FBI on TV saying that she thinks it was "suicide by cop". Ha! She needs to get a clue...

I'm waiting for jesse jackson and that POS attorney john burris to arrive and take over the airwaves.

Good-bye sweet America!

I've been heard some of this -- somehow just doesn't ring with any truth. They are all victims, aren't they.

Also hearing that the fine folks in the flatlands were taunting the police as they worked to do what was necessary for the shot cops.

In other news: A judge indicated Sunday that he will postpone a preliminary hearing for the BART police officer accused of murdering an unarmed rider, citing the fatal shootings Saturday of four Oakland police officers, attorneys involved in the case said.
