From the remarks at your linked item__
-------------

"Avoid lighting cigars with one hundred dollar bills in public."

"Don't attempt to pay for goods or services with gold bullion."

"Only get into limos driven by someone you know. To ensure your safety, you and your limo company should agree on a on a code word that is easy for you to remember. This way, if anyone tells you that you need to come with them because your usual chauffeur was hurt or is in the hospital, you can ask for the code word. If he is really a chauffeur, he will know the code word that you and your limo company share. If he does not know the code word, you should run away from him as fast as possible."

So easy to demonize everyone who works there. Not cool at all that someone making a living has to be afraid because of the label on their umbrella. And with some of the rhetoric we are seeing thrown around, they do need to be careful.

All this tough talk on the hill is a joke. Why not ask all the politicians to return their campaign contributions from any company that excepted bail out money?

Might be nice if people recognized that this is a complex situation, and everyone at AIG is not a crook, and that every autoworker is not a lazy slob.

Though on the bonus thing, I work for a large company, and we have an established bonus system in place.

We all did what we did (some made their numbers, some did not) At the end of the year, the company slashed ALL bonuses by 75%. Did it suck? Yeah. Is that fair to do when, as a unit, we did not do well, and our customer base is suffering? Yes I think it is.

Not real sure why AIG Bonuses are sacred, while mine is not. I am guessing it is about a contract.

THOUGH, as far as the comment section below the article, this one made me kaugh

"Excellent. So Anyone I see tonight sans AIG badge who won't give me personal information and walks in pairs is gonna GET IT. "

This is SOP at many places of employment and has little humor to it, as there are many nut jobs out there.

Some AIG workers in CT woke up this morning with people on their front lawn screaming at them. It's crazy, truly.

Well I will admit that its disturbing that innocent employees need to fear for their safety. I bet many of them had money invested in their own company all to see it tank. Most importantly most of the employees (99.5%) had nothing to do with what happen...they were just another cog in the wheel.

But I do laugh that AIG execs need to be fearful of their safety.

Why can't we get this kind of reaction directed toward people that choose to work at the IRS?

Well, now Fanny and Freddy execs are saying the economy can't recover if their retention bonuses are taxed at 90%. Please, there has to be logic in that, somewhere.

One of the more intelligent posts seen here in a while.

Hadn't thought about politicians returning contributions from bailed out firms. Insane that members of the banking committees can even accept contributions from financial institutions.

Oh yeah, there are plenty of jobs out there.
You seem to make the same type of post on every thread.
You seem to think that anybody who wants, can have another good paying job tomorrow.

You sound like a trust fund baby.
Clueless!!!!!!

You may very well be on to something. I like your reasoning. Sounds like a good place to park some cash for a few years.

No truer words have been spoken. It's the tyranny of the masses thing.

When I heard about the ACORN idiots having bus tours of AIG CT homes, I can only think of the young frankenstein, that's fraunk-n-whatever, scenes with the townspeople carrying touches banging on the castle doors.

I am not referring to the thieves and the higher ups.
I am referring to the thousands of other people who work there, that did nothing wrong.
It's not as if they can go out and find a comparable job next week.
Your posts always seem to ignore that.
