Default Tiger TV is back

Don't get me wrong but I love to watch Tiger Woods play gofl, one of the most deteremined and disciplined athletes I have ever seen(reminds me of Michael Jordan and Dale Earnhardt SR when it comes to wanting to win) but I am watching the Golf Channel while I surf THT this am and drink a couple of cups of coffee and even though Tiger finished 11th they spent as much time on coverage of his game as the did the great duel between Mickleson and Watney.

Glad he is back but I am will to bet the staff at TGC is all whacking off now that he his back as well as sponsors of the PGA tour .

Bet their Advertising time has jumped in rates as well

Yep, I bet it's messy in the golf channel control room. Glad to see Phil in #2 position. I would love to see Phil and Tiger in the final pr. at Augusta this year. It would be nice if both are healthy and Phil just gives Tiger more than he could handle. I would love to see the post game interview where Tiger says I could not play any better and he beat me. But instead he will hear: the putts just wouldn't fall, I didn't have my A game, or my knee is bothering me a little. When Tiger loses, there's always a good reason. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Tiger hater. I like to watch him play and see some of the amazing shots he pulls off. It's the medias godlike portrayal of him I don't care for. jmo

I hate what has happened to golf on TV since he came out. I used to enjoy watching a round and seeing most of the players hit a couple of shots. Even the ones not in the top ten got a little air time. When Tiger came out all that changed. I remember the British Open his first year, I can't remember the year. I wanted to watch as many players attack the old course as I could. They showed Tiger hit his tee shot, kept the camera on him the entire time he walked to his ball, prepped for his next shot, hit it, walked to his next one and on and on. They kept the camera on him the entire time and no other players could be seen. That really irks me. He is a great player, there's no doubt about that. His self centeredness has waned a bit since he started, but it's got a ways to go before I'll be a real fan.

Thing you gotta love about Phil is he will go for it on a shot and not play it safe.

I too would love it come down to them at The Masters and them playing together on the final day but if TW is on it is lights out

While I enjoy his abilities and talent, I would like to see the networks not show him walking down the fairway, there are 70 some odd players on the weekend trying like heck to earn a check, making some great shots...
Lets see them instede....

I call that stupidity at their level of the game, especially with that much $ on the line... but it their problem, not mine. Cost him dearly that tourney he pushed it, off the tent, in the trees on one of the final holes, but I think Monty won that one, or he was close also... bye bye to that trophy. -plus countless other times I wish he'd have just parked it down the middle of the fairway with the 3 metal. I gave up rooting for him because he was too wild. At least Daly plays to his strengths... I think Phil should stay away from the psycologist or whatever, messing with his mind or something the past few years.

But I'm still the guy that spanks them down the middle with a 2-iron or a hybrid and laughs at my playing partners as they're searching for the ball in the woods on every hole. The weekend warriors that still use a driver and spray it in the woods off every tee really give me the big laughs.

Keep up the convo.

Phil does make some plays that in hindsight seem pretty dumb but he does have 38 wins now, approaching Tom Watson's record. I bet it has something to do with his confidence in his ability to get it up and in from anywhere?;?
