Default Any dentists out there? Ouch!!

Who undestand "cane" allergy. Reason I ask is because I have a bad tooth that is paining me. But the dentist won't work on me. I passed out and turned gray at the dentist. The dentist said never to let anyone give me novicane again.

Oh did I say pain? I'm just glad I'm pretty hardcore. What other options are there?
These are two bad molars I think were caused by impacted wisdom teeth long ago.

I'd go to a dentist that sedates the patient. I had a similar problem and had to go on a long road trip that night when I was coaching football. My regular dentist was off and I called just about every dentist around and finally found one. When I got there I found out they don't use novicane at all ! I was under about 15 minutes and about an hour later I was on my way minus one tooth and pain free!

Man, I've got a wisdom tooth that apparently cracked this weekend and I can't think of anything that has even come close to the pain... Anbesol was working for a while but not anymore... the sedation dentistry sounds pretty good but I think in the AM I will be going for whatever dentist can see me on short notice, aggh.

The tooth is out. There was no hope for it.

I'm a dentist----no such thing as an allergy to "caine"drugs. Never been a case documented. What you experienced is a reaction to the epinephrine in the lidocaine, a common reaction called syncope. You may need to find a new dentist, there is always IV sedation also...
