Default Land Shark Beer

Anyone ever try it? I was at the local sandbar last weekend and a guy in the boat next to me offered me one. I have heard of it but never gave it a thought. Its pretty good. I bought a couple of 12 packs for the weekend instead of my usual Miller Lite.

You heavy lager guys won't like it.

It's pretty good, similar to Corona. It is owned by Buffet, brewed by "Margaritaville Brewing Co." if memory serves.

Buffet must be the name to have if you're into big $$. Jimmy makes $40MM/year while the other one make a couple extra 00s on his good years.

I rented one of the apartments for $500/month and came home to give the admiral a big High Five I was so happy. Different strokes, but my name isn't Buffet, either....

Ironic that Jimmy Buffett has been selling a dream most of his whole life, and is one of the few to live like the way he sings.

But yet, he lives more like a businessman than most businesmen.

As mentioned, it's similar to Corona, I like it. I like Jimmy and his music, I just don't pay attention to his or any other entertainers political views.

I 've got no love for Jimmy Buffet... He is the typical tree hugger Hypocrite. Rules are for everyone but him. I like his music but I refuse to donate my money to such a Prince of a guy... I remember an old couple that had a restaurant for like 25 years, named similiar to his, but before he ever thought of being in the restaurant business... What does Jimmy do, he sues them to make them change the name...nice guy..

Like everyone else said, tastes like Corona.

I won't buy it though because of the clear bottle which means there'll be the occaisional skunk case (just like Corona). Once I get a couple skunked cases with a brand, I'll never buy it again. Funny, it only happens with green or clear bottles. Never had it happen with brown bottles.

Brown bottles better filter out light, with clear obviously doing relatively nothing. You'll find almost all high-end beers have dark colored glass (usually brown).

That is my experience as well. I have never had a skunk beer from a brown bottle. These days, I only buy bottled beer that comes in brown bottles.

I can understand it getting skunky in a 6 pack but the 12 pack is enclosed completely in a box. I went through two 12 pack this weekend and they were all very good.
