Default Stainless metric nylock nut supplier?

I need a handful (4 each) of some M8x1.25 and some M10x1.5 nylock metric nuts. Local hardware store has them, but they are the thin style and they can't get a thick one.

Y'all normally have awesome places online to buy this kinda stuff..where can I get these? I don't need/want to buy a hundred of each if possible.

McMaster Carr is the best hardware supplier there is.

If McMaster fails (doubtful) try All Stainless in Hingham MA.

if it makes you feel any better, Fastenall sells the same for more money locally, and they still have a minimum order quantity, and charge shipping.

Why is it I just can't get Fastenall into my head. Good company, good pricing, lots of stuff, and the largest catalog on my book shelf. I have two locations less than 5 miles from me. They also will sell to the public. DUHHHH

These guys are trying to place themselves in more 'storefront' locations I was told by a manager.

Try this place, http://www.metricscrew-toolco.com/ if they will not ship to you let me know and I will go pick them up and mail them to you, I go by the place several times a day.
They have been very helpful with I need stuff for my metric toys.

I personally have no use for them. Their shipping policies are what gets to me. If I need something that they don't have in stock locally, they won't drop ship directly to my shop. They do have a decent selection in most stores, but anything out of the ordinary is like pulling teeth in my experience. I get pretty much everything for the bolt bins through Imperial Supply, and small quantities & odd pieces pretty much exclusively through McMaster Carr. They ship same day on orders before 5pm and it is a 1 day ground drop.

Our local True Value actually had a better selection of fasteners than Fastenall did. I'm sure Fastenall had more of the larger stuff but anything metric or stainless was definitely True Value all the way. Sadly, they closed about a year ago when a box store opened up down the street.

I checked fastenal this morning. They didn't have them, but ordered them for me and will be here Monday (which isn't a big deal). And I only had to buy what I needed (in 316 Stainless!)

How about your local West Marine? Or your local boat yards service department? I agree on Fastenall - will never order from them again. Their prices were high to begin with and then they jacked me for shipping charges!

I buy all my fasteners and other supplies from Jamestown distributers... you can buy a box of 100 for what retail hardware stores want for 10, they sell all kinds of marine specialty stuff that is nearly impossible to find, if you own a business you can also set up a wholesale account and get it even cheaper.

I have gotten drop ships from them in the past. Did something change? I'll assume that you have an account set up with them?

I don't completely understand what you're asking here.

anyone can buy from Jamestown, but you save a few bucks on the already very low price if you set up a business account.

I once had a business account with them but I'm not in the business any longer. They have 2 catalogs, 1 for Joe boat owner, and 1 for business's; both have the same products, the business catalog just shows the discounted price.
