Default do you have family in Iraq or Afghanistan

I have a friend that does a fishing magazine and they once again want to send several copies to Iraq, I will make this easy here is a copy of the e mail I received today. Explains it all and I think it is a great idea. The Magazine is GAFF and is done her in Tallahassee Fl. OR If you want to help let me know and I will send your info to Anne. I will do 3 or 4 boxes if you send me the address.
God Bless our Troops this Holiday season.

here is the e mail
Me again.
I am looking for "sponsors" to mail boxes of new fishing magazines to the Wounded Warriors in Walter Reed Army Hospital, and the service men and women overseas. I have some addresses now, in Afghanistan and Iraq, more coming.
A box of 50 costs $15.00
A box of 30 costs $11.00
These are flat rate boxes APO, and Domestic.
If any of you have a relative over there now, send me the address also and a box can go to her.
or him.
I have 550 magazines, all new in the carton ready to ship and awaiting a company, or individual who would like to Sponsor a box. I can't mail them all myself this year$$$$!!!!$$$!!!!
If I receive more than needed for this shipment (wouldn't that be wonderful?), I have arranged to send more boxes as they are published. A new issue is at the printers now.
The reason I care: these issues have stories and photos from the troops fishing in Iraq, on Saddam's Palace grounds under armed guard - great stuff. Plus other stories from our troops. I think one photographer is a woman. Lots of stuff for the woman athlete and soldier as well.
If you think your office can spare 15.00 bucks, for a good cause, send it to me and we will get these things "moving out".

Eyeball check out GAFF.com

When to gaff.com, got the browser message: ADDRESS NOT FOUND - Firefox can't find the server at www.gaff.com.

Are you sure that is the correct website?

Please note that mail addressed in this fashion will not be delivered for security reasons. It must be addressed to a particular solider by name.

Please see: http://www.wramc.amedd.army.mil/News...rm.aspx?Id=95&

The above link contains organizations suggested by Walter Reed officials if you would like to show your support.

Just didn't want anyone to waste the noble effort.

Thank you.

sorry about the incorrect address I have it set up to open under GAFF in my system from many days ago and never really think about it. But Gaffmag.net is the correct address.
Goosedog I sent that info to Anne, I agree no need in wasted $$. when I told Anne I would help her and see if I could get some addresses I was sure that there would be some on THT who knew or had family members in the service.

Just wanted to update this

Thank you all for your support - I must say I get excited every time I get an address and/or a check. Two cartons (72) went out to a hospital in Iraq. Five cartons went earlier, about 200 mags, and a big box went to Fort Bragg to be taken by a soldier. Two cartons went to a Chaplain in Afghanistan. If I hear back that any of them reached their destination, I will send more.
Yesterday, I got a call from "adoptaplatoon" - apparently I passed the security exam because they are sending me addresses by e-mail. What a day (same day I won a marathon tennis match and was already flying high- and I was ready to give up tennis!!)
So - thanks again and I will keep you posted if you want. I sent a notice to the Havana Herald about the project with a picture of family members packing and filling out forms.
